 Hi @wharminda, Thanks for the ticket.

 I tried the fresh install of `6.7.2`, and it installed fine for me. Maybe
 this guide can help you if you're still having issues:
 https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/tutorials/installing-wordpress-
 locally/from-zip/

 Also, the password strength checker works fine for me. Can you maybe list
 out the steps you took so that I can follow the same and confirm if that's
 an actual issue?
