In general, I agree with Abel re Rosetta and with Friedel re Pootle.
However, Pootle didn't work for me as described - neither online neither
offline, particularly with non-US characters. Whether it is due to some
technical issues on my side, or on theirs... didn't have time to have fun
with it yet. Which is why I didn't mention Pootle in the first place, but
only Rosetta. Once the Pootle is fully functional for me, I have a feeling
it will be my favourite over others - including poedit.

Talking about poedit: one of the things that bothers me most is the fact it
doesn't allow multiple selections. Ie. one has to approve translation line
by line. Pootle has more elegant solution there as well.
