One option is to use Rosetta (for more, see WP in your language). The
offline option would be:
- make sure everyone is using the same .pot version
- install poedit
- divide the number of lines between group members, or
- let one member translates .pot, the other would translate readme, etc.

But the overall recommendation that the group should have someone who would
check all translations for consistency, once the particular document or
documents have been translated. This makes Rosetta or any online solution
somewhat more suitable, perhaps.
