[wp-polyglots] Missing gettext in wp-register.php

The file wp-register.php has a missing translation in line 168.  It
currently says:

 <p>A password will be emailed to you.</p>

when it should be:

 <p><?php _e('A password will be emailed to you.') ?></p>

How does one "put back" such a fix in the WordPress tree?  Is there
a mailing list or some other way to report this bugs?  (I'm very new
to WordPress, it's been only one week since I discovered it.)
