[wp-forums] Who is vkaryl?

vkaryl is on this list - though I don't see her posting to it very often,
guess it just depends on how busy she may be IRL or something...

I agree that thread is off-putting, to be honest. "Moderators being bitches"
isn't exactly inviting to those looking for help, and I know that when I
first started, I was more apt to take or seek out the advice of moderators.
Not everyone assumes that mods are unpaid, you know?

I guess if it were a non-moderator, the nasty comments in the thread would
be deleted, and the user would be given a warning of some sort. Handling
moderators isn't my job, so my opinion beyond that point wouldn't (and
shouldn't) really matter. She claims (in that thread) to have had "words"
with you before, Matt... so maybe you would be best suited to handling this
one on your own anyway?

I've gotten 3 different people email me through different methods in the
past few weeks complaining about moderators on the support forums. Each time
it was vkaryl, but I figured the person had a ton of posts so some were
bound to rub people the wrong way.

Today I get two more complaints, and I come across this thread which is
pretty hostile:

If there's one characteristic we need in moderators, it's people who can
calm the flames, not blow them higher. I didn't make this person a mod, and
Podz is going on vacation, so what do you folks think is the best course of
action?
