 The [attachment:97.10.diff latest patch] implements both points. I didn't
 test much, but I really like it. Other than testing, this needs some
 ui/design tweaks. I also noticed some jittering on the tooltips, that need
 to be investigated.

 @markoheijnen: other than the above, what do you think we need to do to
 have this committable?
