Hello wp-testers -

WordPres 3.1 Beta 1 has been released today. Please read this email for
instructions and procedures.

If you believe you've found a problem, please create a new thread with a
report of the potential issue. Please include steps to reproduce, expected
versus actual results, version you are using, etc. A developer, typically
me, will generally respond with a request for more information, a link to an
existing Trac ticket or changeset, or once a bug is confirmed, a request
that a new ticket be created.

Using the mailing list as a bridge between testers and developers prevents
Trac (our bug tracker, http://core.trac.wordpress.org) from being overrun
with invalid, duplicate, or incomplete reports. It also allows for bug
reports that reach Trac to be properly focused on a confirmed bug.

If you've followed 3.1's development closely or if you have experience
reporting or fixing bugs, this list probably isn't for you. If you find a
reproducible bug and can't find a related ticket on Trac, head over and
create a new ticket. (Patches are also welcome, as always.)

Thanks, and have fun breaking WordPress :-)
