Why do you expect credit? No offense, but you're contributing to an open
source project, along with hundreds of other contributers; to keep track
of every change someone made within the source code would be ridiculous
to an extreme. I've had about 6 or 7 patches included in the WP trunk
and expect neither credit nor remuneration; just the warm fuzzy feeling
I get when I know I've helped the community by squashing a bug or
enhancing a feature in a product that they use. A comment in Trac like
"kudos robmiller" is even better and makes me even warmer and fuzzier.

Don't let this experience put you off contributing more; just realise
that it is infeasible to expect credit for even the most major of changes.

Rob
