[wp-pro] Movable Type 4.12 to WordPress

I want to move a Movable Type blog to WordPress,

WP has this, but it's old.

Anyone know if exporting from MT to their text file format then importing that into the current version of WP works? I'm assuming it does, just wanted to check if anyone had experience.

I assume images have to be moved manually and images in posts might need the URLs recoded.

Any help appreciated.
