[wp-forums] mod watch...

John, I've removed the flags from your account.

Nevertheless, future reference, it's never a good idea to argue with forum
moderators, on any forum. They might be a bit "terse", as it were, and that
often can be mistaken for rudeness, but when you have to go through as much
as they do on a constant basis, then a little terseness is to be expected.

BTW, with regards to the problem you were having back then, the  character
appears because of an incompatibility between your database encoding and
encoding of the page upon which you are viewing and entering it. The short
of it is, that if this problem exists in your setup, then doing the
double-space-after-a-period will cause the Â's to appear.

The fix is difficult to perform, requiring direct database intervention,
but it is possible to do. Generally it's easiest to make a whole new
database and fresh install and then export/import your content over. Email
me directly if you still have this problem.

Also, double-space-after-a-period is a relic of a bygone era of fixed size
characters and typewriters. Break yourself of the habit, modern computer
fonts perform proper kerning automatically, and only
one-space-after-a-period is actually the correct way to do it. :)
