Bernard was not trolling. He's a valuable member of our documentation
team. Sorry you haven't had a chance to get to know his humor before
slamming. He's doing great work and exploring thoroughly WordPressMU
and development documentation, which is desperately needed here.

Come on folks, let's all lighten up. I'm here at WordCamp Las Vegas
getting ready to meet some awesome WordPress folks, and trying to
understand what happened with the Codex and what everyone is saying.

I've fixed the front page. I looked at the screenshots and then went
to the Codex (any page) and saw it was changed. YEAH! CHEERS for the
WordPress team to finally help us. I was so excited about that, I
didn't look into the details to see that the table of contents
accidentally appeared on the front page, the real page that was of
concern. I'm in between meetings and greetings, so I was the careless
one with that. My replies were meant to be helpful, and a little
silly, so pardon if they were taken personally. I'm giddy that the
Codex is being worked on - in any direction.

Before things go down the drain, remember, we are all volunteers here
trying to do our best. We rely upon the WordPress staff to help run
the code under the hood, and we should all be cheering that the Codex
is finally starting to look so good.

I started a thread a week or two ago asking for more input on what
needs fixing in the styles on the Codex, and maybe everyone didn't get
it, but now work is at hand and your input is desired and much
appreciated. As work continues to improve the design, there will be
changes as part of the construction. Consider yourselves all warned.
It's going to be great, but have patience.

And while we're trying to lighten the load, I'm usually the first in
line to use "potty mouth" (nephews call it that) language and name
calling, so please, leave that to me and let's use sir and madam the
rest of the time. :D

And let's get back to helping the WordPress Community get the
information they need to help them blog better. It takes all of our
creative and unique talents to make the Codex possible, and the
unappreciated gem that it is. Thanks all for all of your hard work.

And again, my apologies for the confusion. I screwed up.

Lorelle
