 I can confirm the described the behavior, although in my case it's not the
 administrator of the blog but seems to be one of the editors (not always
 the same).

 The site-wide admin is part of the blog but the person who created the
 entry/page in question might not always have been a member of the blog
 (WordPress MU 2.7 sometimes drop membership for users registering new
 blogs).

 We have the following WP plugins installed:

 Event Calendar 3.1.4
 File Icons 2.1
 Redirection 2.1.5

 The MU-specific plugins we've installed is just feeds stuff (site-wide,
 calendar events, etc.)
