#217: Internet Explorer 6 generates script error in Write Post & Write Page
------------------------+---------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: taobrad | Owner: somebody
     Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: high | Milestone: WPMU 1.0
Component: component1 | Version: 1.0
Severity: major | Keywords: script error tinymce write post
------------------------+---------------------------------------------------
IE6 on Win2000 & XP Pro produces the following error in Microsoft Script
 Debugger:

A Run Time error has occurred.
 Do you wish to Debug?
 Line: 243
Error: Incompatible markup pointers for this operation.

 Click Yes...

 highlited:  rng.moveToElementText(inst.getBody())
 ... found in... moveToBookmark : function(bookmark)
 ...found in... wp-
 includes/js/tinymce/tiny_mce_gzip.php?ver=09212006a&theme=advanced&language...

This prevents using the '''Send to editor''' button (generates another
error [line 149... unspecified error] if you have script debugging turned
 on otherwise, nothing happens).

'''Here's the weird part...''' these errors only happen ~40 seconds after
the page finishes loading. If you add an image by clicking '''Send to
editor''' before the 40 seconds the error will not occur.

The error does not occur in Firefox. I have tested it on two different
computers with the same result and I notice ticket #176 describes a
 similar problem.

I don't know if this is a problem strictly with TinyMCE or if it is a
problem with Wordpress's implementation of TinyMCE so I thought I'd start
 by posting here.
