 4. Upgrade GB hash in WP-Dev, backport
 5. Remove shim for `wp-sync` in WP-Dev in trunk
 6. Backport to 7.0

 The follow up commit will help ensure that continue to pass during the
 commit process.

 I will try to do some dry runs in advance.
