 Hi @knutsp  thank you for the feedback and the warm welcome 🙏

 I completely understand and respect the “Decisions, not options”
 philosophy. My intention isn’t to introduce unnecessary UI complexity, but
 to highlight a common performance-related use case. Many developers and
 site owners already disable block styles via custom snippets or third-
 party optimization plugins.

 If a user-facing toggle is considered too risky from a philosophy
 standpoint, perhaps a standardized core filter or constant could be
 explored instead. That would provide an official and stable mechanism for
 performance-focused builds without requiring manual remove_action code in
 every project.

 Appreciate the discussion and happy to align the proposal with a more
 core-friendly approach.
