Comment:

 I have sympathy for your point, but I think #14828 demonstrated that the
 behavior in question is a real bug, not just a theory or the result of
 developer error.

 Anyway, I'll leave the `close` keyword and let a committer or someone else
 decide what to do, but I restored the other keywords, because the ticket
 still has a patch and tests :)
