 Hi Everyone,

 This ticket looks to have been sitting for a while, and over this time
 WordPress has changed considerably and the performance issues with the
 Media Uploader have been largely addressed through continuous improvements
 and redesigns of the WordPress Media Library. Features such as the grid
 view, pagination, and enhanced search/filtering capabilities, introduced
 in later WordPress versions, have fundamentally changed how media assets
 are loaded and managed, effectively resolving the original concerns about
 fetching all attachments at once.

 Therefore, I believe that this ticket can be closed with a 'worksforme' or
 'fixed' resolution, as the underlying problem no longer manifests in
 current WordPress versions. However before the ticket is closed, I have
 attached the `close` tag so we can continue to get feedback from the
 community. 😃
