 If I understand correctly, you are referring to the
 [https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-product-search/blocks
 /product-filter-categories/ product filters documented on WooCommerce's
 site].

 As these filters aren't provided by WordPress, you will need to log an
 issue on the [https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce WooCommerce issue
 tracker] requesting persistence as the site is navigated.

 WordPress doesn't include any way to filter categories in the manner you
 describe, I'm going to close this issue as `invalid`. In this case, that's
 trac's unfriendly term to indicate that I've referred you to the
 WooCommerce issue tracker.
