 I'm guessing my ticket wasn't clear :)

 Did the filter results remain if you leave then go back to that category?

 Using WooCommerce products as an example, consider a scenario where I have
 a category for Men's and Women's tops, and I am focused on updating the
 items in the Women's category. If I apply a filter for Women's > Tops, the
 system will display all the tops within that category. However, upon
 leaving the page and returning, I would prefer to see the filtered results
 for Women's > Tops rather than a complete list of all products.

 Hope this is clearer.
