 I'm trying to implement a containerized Qmail server, but its being way
 harder than I expected (very clunky and oldish server, despite of being
 one of the most robust theoretically). With Postfix it was a breeze but I
 was expecting that both qmail and sendmail were going to be tough nut to
 crack. Still I'm going to keep trying to see if I can reproduce your
 scenario but if you can provide more info, I would be able to check
 through it faster.
