 For reference, the bug reported in
 https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/53593 is happening for the
 same reason as this one. cc @gziolo

 On another note, the Gutenberg PR
 https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/49904 has been merged. Next
 steps are:
 * Commit the PR for #58154
 * Port the above Gutenberg update into core
