 Quick glance at [attachment:39087.8.diff]:

 - The inline comment in `WP_Customize_Widgets` should use `/* … */`
 comments for better readability. Also note the missing space after the
 word PHP.
 - We usually use %s and `number_format_i18n()` for such placeholders
