Okay, so I had a REALLY BAD day... I felt REALLY upset last night..
because I felt abandoned by Andy on Messenger. Sure, it happens. It's
expected. Especially when I was being an arse on the lists for the past
couple days... It just seems sometimes, no matter how much I try and
help... my words don't get across to the higher up folk.. Usually they
do! I speak for alot of users, because I'm still running my sites on
basics. I run my sites on 800x600 res.. I run my sites on crappy
dialup... I run my sites usually on CRAP! If they can't please ME, who
else they going to please?!?!?!? I'm speaking crap, because that's what
I got to "live on"!??!?!??
800x600 res people.. remember this.. don't force users to up their
screen resolutions..
keep speed in mind...
don't change things so dang much that most plugins don't work with them,
it takes HOW LONG for plugins to catch up with previous versions... let
alone NEW versions like this one...
keep in mind, not everyone likes opening up their sites for possible
attackers...
keep in mind, word things so normal users can code themes so gravatars
can work... don't just slap it in core.. expect them to KNOW what to do...
most plugins might screw up uploading of media of whatever format..
let users know, you're trying to keep things simple and decent no matter
WHAT browser setting they using.. 800x600 res isn't dead totally!
remember that!
If you want users to be able to function things like uploaders and
such.. code them so they can do it .. in 800x600...
just keep in mind.. all users and variations of users... that's all..
