I feel the same, I liked that I could move the sidebar elements around as
needed and I think this would stop me upgrading too, though I'll keep my
local install on the latest nightly build.  It's a huge step backwards in
usability.

We've also lost any ability to easily change the order of elements on  
the [write] page, which I always found very useful.

Personally, I don't expect to update my live site until someone  
produces an admin theme plugin that restores the old functionality.
