[wp-testers] custom wp_notify_postauthor (mal)function

Can someone confirm that a pluggable, custom function
wp_notify_postauthor() is not working when approving comments via the
admin UI utilizing Ajax.
The very same routine kicks in when disabling JS in the admin UI.
