www.wp.sk is not related site for translations and have nothing with this
process so we can't get anything from that site. Only sk.wordpress.org is
official translation page and it's pretty new.
(By the way, if some site haven't a new article as you mentioned the last
six days from today isn't mean that it's dead.)
Slovak translation have also translated a static files so, is more
comprehensive as czech translation just with PO/MO files we updating
translation as soon is possible.
For now are slovak translation files accessible only from repository at
http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/sk_SK/tags/2.9/
