[wp-hackers] Wordpres 3.1.1 Update Question

I am wondering if there is a security update that is equivalent to the WP 3.1.1 for WP 3.0.5

I know that its best to update to the latest version but we are still in the middle of a school year and 
people don't like change especially in the exam session, it stressed them out. 

Any help would be appreciated. Does the security update effect 3.0.5 users?
