[wp-hackers] Putting the P in WordPress

Many people will upgrade from 2.9 to 3.0.1 and leave out the 3.0.0  
release. WP.com is not a reference for the rest of the web, where people  
have installed WP into a »Wordpress« directory or have uploaded similar  
named images. The forum shows that already.

I wish you had just added this code to the plugin directory, without  
forcing anyone to opt *out*.

I wonder what would happen if OpenSuse would implement such a filter. Or  
OpenOffice. :)

Eggs are *necessary* for an omelet. That’s the difference. Why didn’t you  
talk about this before the commit? I cannot imagine that *you* are afraid  
of an open discussion.
