small plugin : code it, use it. once in a while, post it on my blog and forget about it. big plugin : dedicated site (WP powered) + bbpress for forum + phpbug for bug tracking (trac is a pain to setup) + doku for documentation, with a one time login for all properties (but phpbug) M
