[wp-hackers] WordPress Checking Own Pingbacks - Intended Behavior?

[Computer Guru]

Most of my pingbacks go through without a problem.
In the past I was using SK2 w/ Akismet plugin, which manually recovered them
(I think).

Since switching to only Akismet I've made two posts - pingbacks from the
first were flagged as spam, the second as ham.
