This is not a support question.

Wordpress is a nice application, but it also have a bunch of nice 
functions, for instance autoop() and antispambot() and so on. These 
functions could be used a bunch of places, not just in wordpress, but 
they are pretty hard to come by.

Greg Beaver has recently done a lot of work on the PEAR installer, and 
it now supports channels and other really neat features. The PEAR 
installer would be an excellent fit to put some of WP's reusable 
functions out for everyone to enjoy.

It would be neat to have the following commando available for the 
reusable functions:

$ pear channel-discover pear.wordpress.com
$ pear install wordpress/functions

And when there is an upgrade for the functions:

$pear upgrade wordpress/functions

Just an idea. Take care :D
