If you really want to go down and dirty on it and get the post up
immediately.  Cheat. 

Post it via php my admin...  Publish the post with just your intro paragraph
in it on your real blog, to get the benefits of ping-0-matic.  Then copy the
contents field from the raw tables via phpmyadmin (and the clipboard) and
paste it into the your contents field for that post in your online DB.

Nasty but it would work...
