I just downloaded Barthelme from plaintxt.org and found this in the footer:

York City Flower Delivery</a>

Is this common in themes now? For people running theme directories, what 
is your policy on themes that have ads in theme?

Personally I'm fine with a credit link, but I'd rather not have someone 
else's ads in my theme any more than I'd put their Adsense code.
