http://codex.wordpress.org/Version_1.6 is the page on the Codex that is 
the collection point for suggestions for the next version of WordPress. 
The list has become extremely confusing and long in the tooth and was 
beginning to get repeat suggestions. It's been cleaned up and organized 
and structured so that related requests are collected together, such as 
improvements to the Admin Panels, Uploads, Image handling, Themes and 
Templates and so on.

We hope that this will not only help you and the developers, but it will 
help people as they submit their suggestions.
