[wp-hackers] Pingback block-level awareness

Request: the pingback context discovery needs to be aware of at least 
the <p> element (which most links are in) and use that as an outer 
boundry and adjust its capturing appropiately. Anyone want to take a 
stab at elegant code to do this?
