Loudly seconded. 's also why I push some people to use WooThemes (paid 
for) support even though they downloaded the theme for free. What I have 
started using when people complain is point to 
<http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/commercial/> if possible. If the 
theme devs are listed on that pages, they're classed as commercial 
(irrespective of whether theme the cost anything) and, therefore, well 
out of our scope. :-)

BTW, Justin does a lovely piece - if he's pushed - about having to bathe 
in the pond down the road if he can't earn a decent living. Well worth 
reading. :-)
