FWIW, I only mail the list if the user has posted multiple obvious spam 
posts. I figure it's easier to go straight to the user profile than have 
to deal with 3 or 4 modlook posts. From what I've seen, t31os does the same.

It's obviously stored in the db against the user, so I assume it could 
be pulled out with any query on 'modlook'. It would seem to be a 
reasonable datum point to assist forum mods
