[wp-forums] removing traces... ++ Forum FAQ

Regarding the FAQ for the sidebar example - that's what we are discussing
again for the general FAQs. It's been attempted before, I'm sure Michael H
can produce some of the Codex pages that he put together for such. It's a
matter of organizing everyone and getting on the same page to consistently
direct users to the same place, and adding these to the individual FAQs for
each forum.

Regarding the search - it's come a long way, and is much better than it
was. There was a feature to nominate a link as the top answer to a
question, however it was never really adopted by any of the forum
regulars/mods, perhaps that could be part of the new focus as well.

Regarding pasting code - There was discussion once of creating a WP specific
pastebin, possibly within the codex, for permanent code examples. Anyone
have experience setting up a pastebin? It's possible we could lobby Matt
for some server space to have a pastebin for the forums to eliminate the
long pastes, and shortcomings of the code pasting feature currently in the
forums.

Also, keep in mind that madwaffe is now a full time Automattic employee, and
is actively working on bbpress, so we will be seeing some love there. I
think the general consensus has been expressed on what specific
fixes/upgrades are needed, so it should just be a matter of time (though I
don't have specific knowledge of what his priorities are regarding the
code).

I'd just like to take a second to thank everyone for participating, and say
it's nice to see some new names interject on the list.
