#5. Good post in rebuttal, though I tend to think ignoring it/dropping the
whole thing would have been better, simply because I'm all too aware how the PC
folks may react.
I'm not a "lol" sort anyway, so that's not a problem for me. As to jargon, some
of it's inevitable and unavoidable, especially when skippy or one of the other
major coders is posting in response to a coding question.
The chat-room crap abbreviations should be actively discouraged, I personally
believe - but I have no idea how to accomplish that without posting something
every time one of us sees them in use. *shrug* More trouble than it's worth?
