[wp-forums] Sigs on WP support posts

I think something that's failed to be mentioned is your user name is very
much a link to your site. So as users begin to see useful info from a
poster, they will click on their name to see "where they come from" so to
speak. What their site looks like, what type of blog it is. IF you've got
multiple sites, create a page somewhere as a splash of sorts, and link to
that, there's no rule that the link has to be directly to the blog, though
most will take more from it if the sites are run on WP. I know I've
personally discovered many useful WP sites that way.
And for the record, I agree, I see no reason for sigs. I know when I first
started visiting the WP forums, it was a refreshing change of pace not to
have avatars, souped up photoshopped sigs advertising blogs and the like,
just bare bones info about the platform, and that's why I've continued
(albeit less lately) to stay involved.
