I would agree.  Some of us are quite proud that we validate to a standard 
(whichever one we happen to have chosen); some of us are insistent on NOT using 
tables for layout; etc.  I don't think it's up to anyone to say to a new user 
(or even a longtime user!) that the site in question has "problems" because the 
site's owner has NOT chosen to validate to some arbitrary standard, or to 
"comply" with w3c dictates.  That's all up to the individual....
