A couple of points spring to mind:
(1) Forum messages are different from comments/posts, so the Akismet
filter can wind up rather baffled, handling a mashmash of diffe-
rent 'processes' (merging Apples and Oranges). I wonder how this
would ever be extended (if ever) to something such as E-mail
(2) Whatever you do to facilitate Akismet interfaces, please ensure
it is not consistent with phpBB's clunky and totally unusable
administration panel. Keep it Simple and Stupid (KISS), just li-
ke WordPress.
