 When I activate BuddyPress 2.9.0 with Jetpack 5.2.1 installed, the
 dashboard becomes inaccessible.

 If BuddyPress is installed and I activate Jetpack, the dashboard becomes
 inaccessible.

 WordPress 4.8.1

 New WordPress install.

 Theme = Twenty Seventeen.
