 My only concern is the duplicate feature set of blogs vs. groups.
 Especially if we are talking about merging groupblog functionality into
 groups.  That being said, I can definitely see a use-case for your plugin
 on specific BP installs!

 I think if we are to allow a blog single item page, we should remove the
 activity post form as that will generate UX confusion.  There also needs
 to be a link to the blog itself.

 Love the trickery you did to get custom widgets working!  My other concern
 here is that the concept of a custom BP homepage is unnecessary.  However,
 I think the widget page would make an awesome "Profile" or "Info" tab
 page.  In my opinion, the single item homepage should be the "Activity"
 tab by default so users can easily access blog content immediately as the
 main point is to funnel activity to the actual blog.

 Also, thanks for noting your technical challenges with `bp_nav()` /
 `bp_options_nav()`.  Good to know.  I'm not sure what we're doing with
 groups at the moment, but those functions haven't aged well.

 The "Manage" tab is also my favorite :)
