 Well, only if the constant {{{BP_SIGNUPS_SKIP_USER_CREATION}}} is defined,
 meaning the upgrade to 2.0 should allways happen with old system, but i
 agree there's a risk if a plugin alter the way BuddyPress used to define
 activation keys.
