 I had the same issue. But mine was with bp-core-template.php:1117
 bp_displayed_user_id() undefined function.

 The file was there, so I removed bp_displayed_user_id() on line 1117,
 uploaded then activated bp-default and re-added the function back and
 uploaded. Seemed to to the trick..
