 It probably means that the account is already activated. Use the plugin
 http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/unconfirmed/ to view and activate
 unactivated accounts.

 Please post support requests at http://buddypress.org/support. If this
 turns out being a BP bug, please reopen the ticket with steps to
 reproduce.
