Comment:

 The first sentence appears to have been fixed in the trunk (it's in bp-
 themes/bp-default/members/single/messages/compose.php) at some point.

 I can't find the second string but looking through the other messaging
 templates in bp-default, I don't see any bare strings.  Everything looks
 like it should be translatable.
