[buddypress-dev] Push the Envelope

Open ID is great if it can truly be integrated with each system. Does open
Id let ad admin or post writer log in to Wordpress? I thought that the
OpenID plugin was just for comments plus we'd need it for BBpress.

As far as the wiki conversation goes. We need a way to link between posts
without plugins since plugins break.

Hi Jason. Thanks for letting us know about this. Although direct
integration between Joomla and Wordpress MU would be great, I would
personally prefer to take an open approach. By using standards like
OpenID we can allow multiple applications to be accessed by using a
single login identity. That way we don't have to write custom code to
support the wide array of applications people use in their day-to-day
lives. What are people's opinions on this?

Thanks,
Andy
