Get a better mail client. If you're willing to use a specific purpose
application for short messages (twitter) then use a decent email client
which supports what you want.
Mine does:
  * Allowsme access from no matter where i am (Google Apps)
  * Deliveres to my phone when i want access
  * Filters email into mailing list folders ( Ok, Thats Operas doing, but i
have similar filter on google apps for all wordpress related stuff)
  * notifies me when someone posts a message
  * Allows simple reply straight from my desktop, phone, or remote PC.

To all you twitter fans: There are uses for it (apparantly) but many
people do not care to update everyone else every moment of the day, and if
they have a question, are more than likely willing to wait the 2~15mins it
takes for a quick email/reply.

If people want to have WordPress testing discussions on twitter, Go for
it, But please, Lets not clutter this mailing list with related crap, This
list is for testing wordpress, lets leave it that way and focus on helping
new testers rather than just splintering things and making it more
complicated than it has to.
